Robert Pillon was a well known member of the Amherstburg community. He never let his disability hold him back from leading a full and active life. He made his own contacts with many groups and organizations including the Amherstburg Fire Department, The Knights of Columbus. St, John the Bapitst Church, The Amherstburg Police, The Amherstburg Heroes Athletic Club, Community Living Essex County, St. Bernards Schooll and many many more!
Robert was very involved for many years with the mens baseball team and the mens hockey team. He loved sports, and if he was still alive today we know he would be the first one out at the Miracle Diamond every saturday morning! The Miracle League board of directors agreed that honoring Robert on the wall of memories would be a fitting tribute. Robert passed away 6 years ago, and it is evident that his presence will never be forgotten!
